Oh, hello there! My name is Jason Andrews. I’m a composer, songwriter and guitarist.
Triove II. Wants of Some Desires is back on drawing board! In the midst of working on my original band Outerdocks, I have neglected many of my older classical compositions. Several new ones have been started (although not completed). But then Matthew Habib contacted me again saying he’d love to start working on the Second Movement of Triove entitled: “Wants of Some Desires“. So here I am working on it! Hopefully in a month or so I’ll have a decent version of it done and ready for recordings!
After all the searching, e-mails and meeting people I finally got a band together! Back in November I was contacted by Helmut Hampton from Tampa to “audition” for Outerdocks, a Tampa-Bay based Alternative Rock Band, as a Bassist. Honestly I couldn’t be happier with a band – great songwriting, amazing skill and unmatched dedication. Soon after I asked my friend, Ryan Kerr, to join the band and it’s gotten even better. Soon we will be in the studio recording a demo and playing some shows.
Hey Guys! Finally after lots of work and research I have launched the new version of my Website. Over the last few years it has gone through a lot of changes but this by far is the best! It’s a lot more function but also is aesthetically pleasing. I hope you guys enjoy it. All I have let to do is add each of my compositions and then eventually my popular songs as well. That’s a task in itself!
It’s not often that we have to sell our precious musical instruments but when we do it’s hard. It tears at the soul for some of us because of the attachment we all have for them. To us, or at least me, it’s more than just a piece of wood and steel strings. It’s more than just a guitar, it’s a part of us. It’s a part of our being and our souls. But every once in a while we must part with it.
